ATS
SRx ATS is liquid ammonium thiosulfate fertilizer with a 12-0-0-26S analysis. This water-soluble formulation offers faster conversion to plant-available sulfate than elemental sulfur forms.
Our Moses Lake facility is upgrading its ATS plant and will have the production capabilities and storage capacity to meet your in-season demand for 12-0-0-26 ATS in the spring of 2023.
Fast conversion to plant-available sulfur
SRx ATS is generally converted to plant available sulfate within one to three weeks, depending on soil characteristics.
Compatible tank-mix partner
SRx ATS is compatible with most liquid fertilizers for convenient handling and mixing.
Improves micronutrient availability
SRx ATS is both a reducing and acidifying agent, so it can improve the availability of iron and manganese in the soil.
Helps reduce nitrogen loss
SRx ATS inhibits the nitrification process and slows the enzymatic breakdown of urea.
Recommendations for use
SRx ATS 12-0-0-26 should be applied with enough UAN solution or aqua ammonia to achieve a N:S ratio of 5:1.
- Applications of 20 to 50 lbs of S (8 to 18 gallons of ATS) per acre per year depending on growing conditions, soil type, fertilizer placement, crop and yield potential.
- Use soil and plant tissue analysis to guide fertilizer recommendations for crops in your area.
- When applying ATS to the soil as a band application, the band should be 2 inches to the side and 2 inches below the seed furrow. ATS can be applied by sprinkler, drip, flood and furrow irrigation and can be used as a topdress in pastures and small grains.
- ATS Is not recommended for foliar applications on most crops or for use in starter fertilizer programs.
